The body
The Cafini Solar Panel CN-TY2311 (25W) boasts a durable and efficient design tailored for outdoor use. Its high-quality plastic frame provides excellent structural strength making it ideal for long-term exposure to harsh weather conditions. This robust frame secures the solar cells, minimizing the risk of damage during transportation or installation.
The panel is fitted with tempered glass, which enhances durability while protecting the photovoltaic cells beneath. This glass is scratch-resistant and can withstand moderate impacts, making it suitable for various environments. Additionally, the anti-reflective coating on the surface maximizes sunlight absorption, increasing the overall energy output.

At its core, the Cafini CN-TY2311 uses polycrystalline solar cells, known for their energy efficiency and affordability. These cells are neatly arranged within a compact design, which makes the panel lightweight and portable—perfect for small-scale applications such as powering lighting systems, charging batteries, or running low-energy appliances.
What can the CN-TY2311 (25w) solar panel charge
To confirm the strength of the CN-TY2311 (25W) Solar Panel, I had to test it with most of my devices at home. The table below shows the outcome of each device used in testing the solar panel.
Device | Charging duration |
Rechargeable light bulbs (1,000mah) | 2:30 hours |
Airtel M4 Mifi (3,000 mah) | 4 hours |
Itel IT2165 (1000mah) | 2 hours |
Rechargeable mouse (1,000mah) | 2 hours |
Oriamo Sound Pro 2C playbox | 2:30 hours |
Smartphones (2,000mah to 2,500mah) | 4 hours |
Nokia 3V (4,000mah) | 7 hours |

The Cafini Solar Panel CN-TY2311 25W can also charge a 6V and 12V motorcycle battery, electric fans, rechargeable scales, PSP, rechargeable clippers, and other small devices. Charging power banks above 5,000mah will take a lot of time to complete I wouldn’t recommend that, but instead go for a higher version of solar panel. Also, get an inverter and a good deep-cycle battery for maximum performance.
How to set up the Cafini solar panel CN-TY2311
Setting up the Cafini Solar Panel CN-TY2311 (25W) is straightforward, making it ideal for beginners and experienced users. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started:
1. Unboxing and Inspection
- Carefully unbox the solar panel and inspect it for visible damage or defects during transit.
- Ensure all components (panel, connectors, cables) are present.
2. Choose an Installation Location
- Select a spot with maximum exposure to direct sunlight. This could be on a rooftop, wall, or open outdoor area.
- Ensure there are no obstacles like trees, buildings, or other structures that could cast shadows on the panel.
3. Mounting the Panel
- The CN-TY2311 comes with a compatible mounting stand that can be used to set it up.
- Position the panel at an angle that optimizes sunlight capture based on your geographical location (e.g. setting of panels around 15–30 degrees is common in tropical regions like Nigeria).
5. Connect to a Battery or Device
- From the charge controller, connect to a compatible deep-cycle battery for storing solar energy.
- Alternatively, if you’re using the panel for direct power, connect it to a low-energy appliance or device that matches its output specifications.
6. Check the Connections and Test
- Double-check all connections to ensure they are secure and correctly aligned.
- Once everything is connected, place the panel in direct sunlight and observe the battery or device attached to it to confirm that power is being generated.
7. Routine Maintenance
- Regularly clean the tempered glass surface with a soft cloth to remove dust and debris that can block sunlight.
- Inspect the wiring for wear and tear and ensure the mounting remains stable.
With proper setup and maintenance, the Cafini Solar Panel CN-TY2311 (25W) can provide reliable energy for years.
Charging time:
The 25W CN-TY2311 solar panel starts charging around 7 am but the best time to charge is from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm for maximum performance. Please note that the strength of the sun is a major factor in the current output of the solar panel.

Pros of the CN-TY2311 25W solar panel
Easy to use: The solar panel is easy to set up and use all you need to do is to set it in an area where the sun rays can get to it easily. You can place it on your roof or on the ground. Make sure there’s no obstacle blocking the sun from the solar panel. Another good reason is it is mobile, you can easily put the solar panel inside your bag and travel along with it.
Good for charging small devices: The Cafini Solar Panel CN-TY2311 25W displayed a good performance, it is literary good for small devices and not large devices. Small devices with 2,500 battery and below charged really well compared to my Nokia 3V which comes with a large 4,000mah battery. The good part of it is that it doesn’t heat up the device and it charges my MiFi effortlessly.
Cons of the CN-TY2311 25W solar panel
Very slow in charging large devices: As I said earlier, the Cafini Solar Panel CN-TY2311 (25W) wasn’t able to charge my Nokia 3v and Nokia 2.4 smartphone fast but performs well on my other smaller devices.

It is bad for direct usage for devices with motors: I tried to use the Direct current (DC) from the CN-TY2311 solar panel directly to my fan I couldn’t feel the air coming out from my fan properly. The good part is that it charges well. Well, I wasn’t surprised because I would need a bigger solar for more power usage.
