Design
The Redmi Note 8 comes with a flashy glass material used in building the back just like the Nokia 5.1 plus smartphone. Note 8 comes with quad cameras at the top left-hand side with a flashlight attached to it, and a plastic frame surrounds.
At the top of the smartphone is its headphone jack and also a mic for video making, At the front view, the top middle of the note 8 is where the earpiece and the 13mp selfie camera is located. At the bottom of Note 8 is the loudspeaker and type c USB port which supports 18w Fast charging.
Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 comes with a quad rear camera. 48MP, f/1.8, 26mm wide main camera, 8mp f/2.2, 13mm ultrawide camera, 2mp, f/2.4, macro, 2mp, f/2.4, depth camera. I took two picture sample with it, one for the rear squad camera and one with the single selfie camera, the rear camera looks amazing as pictures taken with it is quite clear and I can zoom inside a little bit without the image deteriorating. The front selfie is quite clear too but I think the contrast is a little bit high and also the colors, but pictures taking with G cam looks far better than the stock Xiaomi camera.

Hardware and software
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 comes with a Qualcomm SDm665 snapdragon 665 chipset and an Octa-core (4x 1.8ghz 4x 2.0ghz) processor coupled with an Andreno 610 GPU. Note 8 is very responsive as it handled most of my tasks easily. Note 8 is also good for gaming it handled PUBG well.
There are different versions of note 8 There is the one of 6GB ram 128GB ROM and also 4GB Ram 128GB Rom which I am currently reviewing. I also saw some other versions on Xiaomi’s official website like 32GB Rom 3GB ram, 64GB ROM 4GB ram, 64GB ROM, and 6GB ram. I love the sound of the Xiaomi note 8 the loudspeaker is okay though I prefer the Huawei y6 prime any time any day. Note 8 also comes with Google applications like the play store, Gmail, Chrome, and the rest.
Battery and network
The note 8 comes with a 4000mah non-removable battery. The battery can last for two days on minimal usage, less than a day on heavy usage. Overall, the battery is okay and the smartphone doesn’t heat up easily and also, you get to charge from 0 to 100 percent faster because it supports 18w fast charging. Also, Note 8 supports 4g 3g 2g internet service.

What I love about Xiaomi note 8
Great Camera: I love the squad rear camera, the pictures taken from it are outstanding and also, I can use G-cam which is also my best camera software.
Nice Design: The note 8 fits perfectly in the hand and also it has a beautiful design, a lovely glass back which makes it irresistible.
Large space: Although Note 8 has different verities’ the 128GB ROM and 4GB ram are just perfect for me. I can make use of the 64GB Rom 4GB version too.
What I don’t like about Xiaomi note 8
User interface: I prefer the android stock user interface to the Xiaomi interface
